Since 1999, Walt Chancey has been involved in the design and development of Senior Living properties throughout Florida as well as high-end residential properties in unique locations such as Colorado, Montana, Idaho, and The Bahamas.

As a Senior Managing Partner of Chancey Design his architectural and interior design experience encompasses the many facets of Senior Living projects as well as condominiums, hotels, resorts, mixed-use projects and high-end single-family homes.

As a developer with the solid background in architecture and interior design, Walt has an intuitive edge, understanding how to select the most discriminating properties in the best markets, how lifestyle is so important to the buyer and how comfort and design plays a major part in purchasing decisions. He also oversees all details including site planning, construction, architecture, interiors and marketing.

Ricky Rookis graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Accounting. Soon after graduating, Ricky served as the Chief Financial Officer of a multi-national investment company. He moved to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida in 1994 to oversee several development investments and eventually established Rookis Investment Partners and BRW Development Partners.

In the past 20 years, Ricky has led the development of numerous Assisted Living and Independent Living Facilities and over a dozen major residential properties including The Lofts at Barrett Square in Rosemary Beach and Blue Sky Breckenridge, a large luxury ski-in, ski-out resort. Over the last decade, Ricky’s focus has been in the development of Senior Living Communities.
